Full-Extension Slides for Under-Stair Storage Cabinets

An under-stair cupboard is deep at the back and low at the front, so a standard slide brings only the front half of the drawer into reach and the back of the compartment stays out of the customer's hands.

We specify a full-extension slide in the 35 mm or 45 mm section, matched to the drawer weight at 18 in extension - 25-40 kg per pair across the standard range. The drawer box clears the carcass completely, so the whole floor of the compartment becomes usable and the void under the stair stops being dead space.

The sloped soffit means the clear height changes along the run. Each drawer is sized to the deepest clear section, and the slide is fixed to the flat side panel rather than to the rake, which keeps both runners parallel over the full travel and stops the drawer binding as it comes out.

Every lot is sampled for running force before dispatch. Send the internal depth, the drawer weight and the clear opening of each compartment, and we return a slide configuration plus a side-panel drawing for the joiner to build to.
